What you will receive in this course:

Regenerative Leadership is a grounded approach to leadership that cultivates the knowledge and resilience to inspire positive change in our individual selves and our collective systems. It goes beyond traditional leadership models by incorporating embodied awareness around self and identity, and understanding the interconnectedness of our collective systems and cultures. Regenerative Leaders are committed to self-growth, work toward social or environmental justice, and have a deep desire to address the complex issues facing us in these modern times - such as race and gender equity, climate crises, community building, cultivating reciprocal relationships and fostering individual and collective healing.

Liza lives and works on the unceded ancestral lands of the Ohlone, Ramaytush Ohlone, Muwekma Ohlone and the Coast Miwok in what is now called Pacifica, California - a place she now calls home. Liza acknowledges that the original stewards of this land continue to play vital and active roles in the Bay Area and beyond.

Liza also recognizes her ancestral lands  - Kō Hawaiʻi Pae ʻĀina (the Hawaiian Islands), particularly ka mokupuni o Oʻahu (the island of Oʻahu), a me ke ahupuaʻa o Waimānalo (and the land division known as Waimānalo) - the place where she was born and raised by her mother and grandmother. Liza thanks her ancestors for their guidance and support as she lives away from her homeland.
