My Philosophy

As a Kanaka Maoli (Native Hawaiian) woman born and raised in Hawaiʻi, my work is rooted in my lineage and my ancestry. I weave the connection to my ancestors, my desire to give voice to what has been historically silenced, and my deep belief that (re)connection to the sacred creates a foundation for both personal healing and collective change.

I do all of this to support you in your calling to show up as a leader that has greater impact in your work and life while using your talents, voice and creativity. I hold space for you to self-reflect, explore your values, and achieve your goals. We do this while creating a healing path to become the leader you envision yourself to be.

My approach is based on the belief that when we gather in safe and supportive community spaces, we are able to show up in our full capacity as leaders. My approach is trauma informed, restful, meditative and grounded in healing modalities, cultural knowledge, and research based tools that are meant to support you in finding your purpose, following your North Star, and stepping into your definition of powerful leadership.

Mission

My mission is to empower purpose-driven women to act on their biggest dreams by providing creative, healing and safe learning experiences that cultivate personal and professional growth rooted in social justice and community connection.

Vision

My vision is a world made more beautiful, whole, and just through every woman's value centered leadership and creative contributions.

Liza lives and works on the unceded ancestral lands of the Ohlone, Ramaytush Ohlone, Muwekma Ohlone and the Coast Miwok in what is now called Pacifica, California - a place she now calls home. Liza acknowledges that the original stewards of this land continue to play vital and active roles in the Bay Area and beyond.

Liza also recognizes her ancestral lands  - Kō Hawaiʻi Pae ʻĀina (the Hawaiian Islands), particularly ka mokupuni o Oʻahu (the island of Oʻahu), a me ke ahupuaʻa o Waimānalo (and the land division known as Waimānalo) - the place where she was born and raised by her mother and grandmother. Liza thanks her ancestors for their guidance and support as she lives away from her homeland.
