It's time to remember how powerful you are.

Hello there, I'm Liza.

My mission is to empower purpose-driven women to act on their biggest dreams by providing creative, healing, and safe learning experiences that cultivate personal and professional growth rooted in social justice and community connection.

When we are in full alignment with our purpose driven leadership we are able to RISE up as leaders and THRIVE in our communities.

I support those who identify as women, non-binary and/or as gender fluid.

I walk alongside you as we co-create a more beautiful and just world both backward and forward in time.

I'm a guide, facilitator, course creator, writer, teacher, scholar, creative, indigenous and feminist change-maker, mother, partner, and firm believer that

the personal is the political.

Healing is my North Star.

I am here to guide you to heal yourself, so you can heal the world.

Here is my story...

As a Kanaka Maoli (Native Hawaiian) woman born and raised on the island of O'ahu in Hawai'i, I have experienced many challenging circumstances and even life-altering traumas at different points in my life. Many of the traumas I have experienced are rooted in long histories of  colonialism and patriarchy within the context of my indigenous Hawaiian communities. As trauma often does, it changed the course of my life more than once, and required me to reinvent my path, and recommit to a larger vision for my life. Because of this, the need for radical self-care has given rise to a lifelong commitment to deep, ongoing healing.

Healing from these traumas while balancing motherhood, partnership and important roles in my work is a lot to carry. Carrying all of this has often led to exhaustion, overwhelm and anxiety. When I suffer from exhaustion and overwhelm, my own healing and self-care goes to the back burner to take care of others. For me, this became a cycle of exhaustion that made me less able to do the meaningful work I wanted to do in the world.

I needed to radically change my relationship to work to create a more restful, meaningful, and purpose-driven life that allowed space for me to return to healing.

This is what led me to create the Rise and Thrive Women's Leadership Academy and my signature course, Regenerative Leadership. For me, turning what I have experienced and learned into a framework for others who are on similar paths, helps me to affirm my personal sovereignty, my own autonomy and my commitment to be a healing force for myself and for the world.

I believe I was put on this earth to help other high-achieving, soulful, purpose driven women like you find clarity, healing and a vision that moves your leadership and life forward.

My approach is rooted in my ancestry as a Native Hawaiian woman.

I weave my connection to my ancestors, my desire to give voice to what has been historically silenced, and my deep belief that a (re)connection to the sacred creates a foundation for both personal healing and social change.

My approach rests on the philosophy that when we (re)source ourselves with a foundation of care, we are able to step into our leadership more fully and powerfully.

I also believe that our leadership style is the way

we express our most authentic service to the world.

I am here to support you on your leadership and healing journey.

Liza lives and works on the unceded ancestral lands of the Ohlone, Ramaytush Ohlone, Muwekma Ohlone and the Coast Miwok in what is now called Pacifica, California - a place she now calls home. Liza acknowledges that the original stewards of this land continue to play vital and active roles in the Bay Area and beyond.

Liza also recognizes her ancestral lands  - Kō Hawaiʻi Pae ʻĀina (the Hawaiian Islands), particularly ka mokupuni o Oʻahu (the island of Oʻahu), a me ke ahupuaʻa o Waimānalo (and the land division known as Waimānalo) - the place where she was born and raised by her mother and grandmother. Liza thanks her ancestors for their guidance and support as she lives away from her homeland.
